Planning Permission on Skirlaugh Playing Field

At last we have received planning permission for the development of the playing field. This is great news and we can now start to raise the funding necessary to proceed with the seating, allweather area and new pavilion.

It is wonderful to see the field being used on a regular basis and I am sure the new facilities will be warmly welcomed.
Our regular users are the first and second Skirlaugh Football Teams and the under ‘8’s’ Skirlaugh footballers as well as the under 15’s, under 17’s and adult Skirlaugh Cricket teams. I am sure everyone will wish them well for the current season.
