Police Appeal for Witnesses as Drunk Driver Hits Wall
POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision which occurred on A165 Skirlaugh at 1625hrs on Sunday 09 March 2008.
A silver coloured Vauxhall Corsa was travelling along the road when a collision occurred with a brick wall.
The collision occurred near to the Duke of York Pub.
The driver of the car, a 41-year-old local man sustained minor injury and was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment where he was detained for observations.
The road was blocked and traffic was diverted through Benningholme and Cawood Drive.
The road was re-opened at 1800hrs after the car was recovered.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have seen the car travelling prior to the incident.
